NW Corridor Study

Completion of the beltway around metropolitan Denver will generate over $17 billion in economic activity in Jefferson County according to a study released November 7 by JEC. This is nearly double the impact without the roadway.

The study was completed by Development Research Partners and estimates the economic and fiscal impacts on Jefferson County over a 20-year period of development with and without the completion of the Northwest Corridor of C-470. Today, the incomplete loop ends at the I-70 interchange in Golden and resumes just north of Jefferson County in Superior.
